- COO & co-founder of CoinFello, where we’re building a DeFi-native AI agent.CoinFello turns natural-language requests into onchain actions, handling research, execution, and automation across all decentralized finance protocols like Aave, Morpho, Hyperliquid, and more. It lets you discover yield, swap, stake, and build complex multi-step strategies while keeping your keys in your own wallet and constraining the agent with strict, user-defined guardrails.

- Led ecosystem & BD at HyperPlayHyperPlay was a Web3-native game store and launcher that let players discover and play both traditional and blockchain-enabled games with a single in-game crypto wallet overlay. It solved major UX and distribution problems in web3 by bringing MetaMask-powered interactions directly into games, aggregating stores like Epic and GOG into one censorship-resistant hub, and giving developers a more open, aligned channel to distribute and monetize their titles.
As Head of Ecosystem, my role was to onboard traditional game developers into web3, from AAA studios like Square Enix to small indie teams. - Worked with Walmart’s innovation arm Store No.8 and helped them launch their first immersive virtual fashion line in ZepetoWalmart created Store No. 8 in 2017 as a Silicon Valley-style venture to incubate retail technology startups and long-horizon projects. The name “Store No. 8” referred back to an early Walmart store where Sam Walton experimented with new retail ideas. It worked on areas like health and wellness, sustainability, social commerce, metaverse and mixed reality, new food and agriculture models, customer experience and loyalty, and Web3/decentralized commerce.ZEPETO is a metaverse social platform developed by Naver’s subsidiary, Naver Z. With roughly 20 million monthly active users, we saw it as the ideal launchpad to experiment with a virtual version of Walmart’s private-label fashion line and test both a new demographic and its broader metaverse commerce strategy. To bring the project to life, it was also essential to identify and partner with CLO, a 3D modeling startup, also based in Seoul.
- Built & scaled the ecosystem strategy at BitDAO’s venture studio, which later transitioned to Mantle Layer-2 blockchainBitDAO was a token-governed investment collective built around one of the largest DAO treasuries in crypto with $3.6 billion in assets. Its mandate was to accelerate the decentralized economy and it was seeded by a major private token sale and a revenue pledge from Bybit, with early backers including Peter Thiel, Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, and Dragonfly Capital.
Windranger Labs was one of the main operational and R&D organizations executing on BitDAO’s vision as a major governance delegate, core contributor, and “product lab”. - Invested as part of 500 Global’s Korea fund and launched its first seed accelerator program500 Global (originally 500 Startups) is a Silicon Valley-based early-stage fund that has invested in roughly 2,900+ portfolio companies globally over its history. Standout companies from its portfolio include Canva, Credit Karma, GitLab, Talkdesk, and Intercom. As Investment Associate and Program Manager at 500 Global Korea, I combined investing with hands-on portfolio support in a lean four-person fund. I sourced and evaluated new startup opportunities, led end-to-end due diligence, and presented deals to the investment committee. Beyond deployment of capital, I was directly responsible for designing and running accelerator programs tailored to our seed-stage portfolio, focusing on growth and GTM. As the only fully hands-on member of the team alongside three partners, I owned the operational execution of these initiatives, working closely with founders.
- Joined SK Telecom’s innovation strategy team and worked on Magic Leap and Oculus deals. Also contributed to the Telecom Infra Project in partnership with FacebookThis was during a pivotal shift in the entire company’s corporate strategy toward 5G, focusing on identifying and validating new growth levers for the telco including: AR/VR, ultra-HD video, cloud gaming, and immersive media.Meta (then Facebook) created the Telecom Infra Project in 2016 to challenge the traditional telecom model, where a few vendors sold expensive, closed, proprietary equipment that slowed innovation. Because Meta relied on better global connectivity, especially in emerging markets, it needed cheaper, more open, and faster-to-deploy network infrastructure.
- Interned at hedge fund-of-fund EnTrust PermalIt ran multi-manager and co-investment strategies in hedge funds and other alternatives for large institutional clients. I did my summer internship at the Hong Kong office.
- Joined Send Anywhere as the first business hire on my freshman year of collegeSend Anywhere is a cross-platform P2P file transfer service and app that lets you quickly send files of almost any type or size between devices using a simple 6-digit key. It was later acquired by Rakuten Mobile.

Books
I have been an avid reader since I was a kid and lately I’ve been cataloguing what I’ve been reading. I read at least 52 books per year.
Recent reads: View all- Book Review: “Homo Deus” by Yuval Noah Harari (Nov 2022)
- Best Lessons from “21 Lessons for the 21st Century” by Yuval Noah Harari (May 2023)
- Book Review: “Nexus” by Yuval Noah Harari (Oct 2024)
P.S. It might look like Yuval Noah Harari is my all-time favorite author, but he’s not. I wrote these reviews because his ideas gave me a lot to unpack as an investor and tech founder.
